Comfy but Cute

high heels and frills aren't everything! Want to look cute but still be comfortable? Try going for "School girl chic" put on a cute skirt and top do up your makeup and then put on a pair of high socks and some hiking boots (tennis shoes work too). You can still be cute and super comfy ❤

 

Double foundation

let's talk foundation. I use two! I found the best way to cover up larger pores (mine are massive) is to use a liquid foundation and then also use a powder foundation. Concealer is a great help but if you're just starting your makeup collection and haven't quite found several hundred dollars to spend on makeup then it isn't absolutely necessary. Now if you don't know or aren't sure what your foundation color is then just go to Macy's, Dillard's, Sephora or somewhere like that and they will color match you. I just recently went to Sephora and had them color match me. I LOVE what they showed me. I bought benefits for the liquid foundation and two faced for my powder foundation. It's amazing! If you're wanting to have better coverage, especially if you have larger pores, I'd totally suggest doing a double foundation.

Versatile Outfits

My favorite thing to do is make an outfit versatile. I grew up always over dressing. I love everything fancy and frilly and high heeled. When I got married though I was asked more times than not why do you always overdress we are just running to the store. This has made me tone it down a little (a little lol). In so doing I have learned how to make outfits versatile.

 Example one...this outfit.

Skinny jeans and a casual button down top.

However...when you throw a little furry vest on and complete the look with heels and some fabulous eye shadow you can easily dress the look up.

Outfits like this are perfect when you don't know where you are going or what the general outfit occasion may be. All you have to do is bring a pair of heels and a fancy vest and there you go!

                                                        

If you want to spice it up a little add a pop of color with a bold eyeshadow (see below)
